Fall Road Trip

It has been a while since I have posted anything, but these past weeks have been a little hectic! We left D.C. after spending 5 awesome weeks with Bryson's family. It was so hard to leave them as well as our friends in Potomac. As sad as I was to leave, I was so thrilled that Bryson had finally finished his rotation at Georgetown. It was a very sucessfull but very LONG 4 weeks for him. We really had not spend any time together the past few months, so we decided to go on a road trip. It turned out to be such a wonderful week, we had great weather and saw so many beautiful places! We started out driving from D.C. up to Canada where we saw the cities of Montreal and Quebec. I felt as though I had traveled to Europe as we walked down the cobble stoned streets of Old Quebec- listening to all the people speak French at looking at the old and beautiful historic sites. We then drove through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachussets to get to Rhode Island where we enjoyed the beach and toured the beautiful Mansions of Newport. It could not have been a better trip with the beautiful scenery as the leaves were turning all over New England.

I can not believe how old Daniel looks! Wow! I mean I guess he is about 6 months now but still, you've been gone so much it seems like he should still be a little infant. Manhattan misses you, come back soon

What a fun trip and such awesome memories. I am honestly impressed that you are brave enough to take that baby on that road trip--you must have the BEST baby. Mine would have screamed and spit up the whole time.

Every picture in that slide show is precious.
