Solana and Disneyland

Bryson had a monday off in March, and we decided to take our first vacation ever as just a family. We looked to book hotel rooms near the beach, spend a day or two there, and then go to Disneyland for a day. It turned out that our last minute plans left us without a good hotel near the beach, so we went down to Solana to stay at the beach condo and see my parents. I am so glad we did, as we had the best day and half there with them before we went to Disneyland.

Sunday afternoon we packed up and drove to Anaheim. We checked into the Disneyland Hotel and spent a few hours swimming with the kids before heading to downtown Disney to grab dinner. It was a great evening, although I lost Andrew for about 5-8 minutes and I thought I was going to lost my mind I was so scared. When we found him, he was very scared. I held him for pretty much the rest of the night.

James was adorable with his little map. He wanted to know where he was and where he was going. He may have missed actually looking at some of the sights since he was too busy looking at the map.

Doing Disney with four kids and 2 adults is no small task, but it really was a good day for everyone. It is so fun to live so close to all of these things!
